Merry Wind Farm | Mist on The Mountain, Martha Ford's Work 1849

The beautiful verse that Martha chose really distinguishes her sampler. Surrounded by a honeysuckle border are a pair of large, stylized birds, owls, several pots of flowers, and Adam and Eve beneath the Tree of Life. The sampler has been reproduced on 32 count hand-dyed Relic linen available from Picture This Plus. Threads used are mostly DMC with a couple of Gentle Arts. Two strands of floss are used with the exception of the verses, which use one.

STITCH COUNT is 250 (w) x 224 (h). Finished size on 32 count linen is 15 3/4 x 16.
