Weekend Retreat with Heartstring Samplery and Plum Street Samplers
Paulette Stewart (Plum Street Samplers) and Beth Twist (Heartstring Samplery) will be coming to Upstate New York in the Spring of 2025! They’ll be joined by special guests Brenda Siwecki and Laura Duet of "Brenda and the Serial Starter," along with several other surprise visitors! Attendees will receive Paulette and Beth's latest collaboration, kitted and ready with your preferred fabric count, along with plenty of other stitching goodies and freebies throughout the weekend! Plus, we’ll be giving away door prizes to a handful of lucky winners and much more!
Registration will open on Sunday, September 29, 2024 at 5:00pm EST. So, round up your local/zooming stitching friends and plan your next big stitching road trip this Spring!

HOTEL ACCOMODATIONS:
Discounted standard room rates will be made available to Retreat Attendees at the Woodcliff Hotel & Spa (~$160-180 plus taxes), Hilton Garden Inn Pittsford (~$150-170 plus taxes), and the Hampton Inn & Suites Victor (~$120-140 plus taxes). Final rates will be posted on Sunday, September 29, 2024, and reservations can be made starting on Tuesday, October 1, 2024. Links for the discounted rates will be posted on our website and social media. (Reservations made through third party providers will not honor the discounted rates, so please use the links provided.)
ADDITIONAL ACTIVITIES:
In addition to a lot of stitching and fun, Brenda and Laura will be on site recording new episodes that a handful of lucky attendees will appear on! We will have on site vending, show and tell, quizzes, and much more!
SHUTTLES:
A designated shuttle service from the Woodcliff Hotel & Spa, to the Hilton Garden Inn, to the Hampton Inn & Suites, and to Hobby House Landing will be available at no cost during the Retreat Weekend including Thursday, April 24, 2025! Shuttle times will be posted prior to the Retreat. (Uber, Lyft, and other car/limo services are not included in the Retreat Fee.)
FOOD & BEVERAGES:
Soda, water, coffee, and tea will be made available during the Retreat Times/Dates in the Event Center. A Rochester-themed dinner will be provided on Friday night, and lunch will be provided on Saturday afternoon. Cash bars will be available on both Friday and Saturday nights. (Additional food, beverage, and incidental purchases made at the hotel or off-site are not included in the Retreat Fee.)
REGISTRATION PROCESS:
Registration will officially begin on Sunday, September 29, 2024 at 5:00pm EDT on the Hobby House Needleworks website located atwww.hobbyhouseneedleworks.com. A banner with the above graphic will appear at the top of the website and will link to the Registration Page. Seats will be confirmed based on accepted payments of the Deposit Fee of $200 (USD) through Major Credit Cards and PayPal. We urge you to include your email address in your Account Contact Information so you can confirm that your payment has been received. (No phone, text, Messenger, mail, social media Comments, or any other form of communication will be accepted as a request to register.)
REFUND POLICY:
Upon registering for this Retreat, we are not able to offer refunds unless another Needleworker fills your seat. This will be done by the Event Organizers, and no outside transfers of seats can be made. Costs are immediately incurred, and we need to ensure that these are covered. In addition, a $50 (USD) Service Fee will be deducted from the original Deposit, so the refunded amount will be $150 (USD). We thank you for your understanding. In addition, attendees who choose to cancel are responsible for cancelling any additional related bookings, such as hotel reservations and transportation. The Event Organizers are not responsible for any cancellation costs incurred with hotels, airlines or other third parties.
