A Weekend Retreat with Cecelia Turner (Heart in Hand), and Elizabeth Newlin and Marsha Worley (Bent Creek).

We are so excited to welcome these three amazing designers to Hobby House Needleworks for the very first time!

Attendees will receive patterns from Heart in Hand and Bent Creek, kitted, along with plenty of other stitching goodies and freebies throughout the weekend! Plus, we’ll be giving away door prizes to a handful of lucky winners and more! 

REGISTRATION: Registration will open on Friday, July 10, 2026 at 12:00pm Noon Eastern Time. So, round up your local/zooming stitching friends and plan the road trip of a lifetime to Hobby House Needleworks!

STORE SHOPPING: Hobby House Landing - which is the home of Hobby House Needleworks, Hobby House Quilt Works, and Hobby House Wool Works - will be open for extended shopping hours during the Retreat Weekend!

HOTEL ACCOMMODATIONS: Discounted standard room rates will be made available to Retreat Attendees at the Woodcliff Hotel & Spa. The Hilton Garden Inn Pittsford and the Hampton Inn & Suites Victor also offer discounted rates for Hobby House Guests year-round. Please request the discount when calling. Links for the discounted rates at the Woodcliff will be emailed to registered attendees at a later date. (Reservations made through third party providers will not honor the discounted rates, so please use the links provided.) 

SHOP SHUTTLE: A designated shuttle service will be available at no cost during the Retreat Weekend including Thursday, October 21, 2027. Shuttle times will be posted prior to the Retreat. (Uber, Lyft, and other car/limo services are not included in the Retreat Fee.) 

FOOD & BEVERAGES: Soda, water, coffee, and tea will be made available for free during the Retreat Times/Dates in the Banquet Room. Dinner will be provided Friday night, as well as Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner on Saturday. Breakfast will be served on Sunday. A cash bar will be available both Friday and Saturday nights. (Additional food, beverage, and incidental purchases made at the hotel or off-site are not included in the Retreat Fee.)

REGISTRATION PROCESS: Registration will officially begin on Friday, July 10, 2026 at 12:00pm Noon ET on the Hobby House Needleworks website located at www.hobbyhouseneedleworks.com. A banner with will appear at the top of the website and will link to the Registration Page. Seats will be confirmed based on accepted payments of the Deposit Fee of $300 (USD) through Major Credit Cards and PayPal. We urge you to include your email address in your Account Contact Information so you can confirm that your payment has been received. (No phone, text, Messenger, mail, social media Comments, or any other form of communication will be accepted as a request to register.) You may sign up for more than one seat, but please be certain to include the Name, Hometown, and Email address of each attendee. 

REFUND POLICY: -Please read carefully - Upon registering for this Retreat, we are not able to offer refunds unless another Needleworker fills your seat. This will be done by the Event Organizers, and no outside transfers of seats can be made. Costs are immediately incurred, and we need to ensure that these are covered. In addition, a $100 (USD) Administrative Fee will be deducted from the original Deposit, so the refunded amount will be $200 (USD). Deposits are non-refundable beginning May 1, 2027. We thank you for your understanding. Invoices for the Balance Payment will be sent on May 1, 2027, and will be due by August 1, 2027. Non-payment by this date will result in forfeiting your seat. After your Balance Payment has been made, cancellations will receive a $200 refund prior to August 1, 2027. Balance payments are non-refundable after September 1, 2027. 

In addition, attendees who choose to cancel are responsible for cancelling any additional related bookings, such as hotel reservations and transportation. The Event Organizers are not responsible for any cancellation costs incurred with hotels, airlines or other third parties.
