  • 1:00pm Stitching Banquet Room Opens - no formal activities
  • 4:00pm Check-in Begins
  • 5:00pm Welcome Reception and Meet & Greet - opening remarks, photo ops, and more      
  • 6:00pm Gourmet Buffet Dinner - with gifts and other activities       
  • 8:00pm Opening Lecture followed by Open Stitch in the Stitching Banquet Room

Saturday, August 9, 2025 - ACADEMY DAY 1

  • 8:00am Stitching Banquet Room Opens with Buffet Breakfast
  • 10:00am Activities Begin - the weekend of exploration begins as students focus on a variety of stitching techniques and study some very special samplers
  • 12:00pm Gourmet Buffet Lunch - with prizes and entertainment
  • 2:00pm Academy Activities Resume - distribution and discussion of the main class project      
  • 5:00pm Organized Academy Day 1 Activities Conclude
  • 5:00pm Cocktail Reception and Hors d’Oeuvres - remarks, photo ops, and more
  • 6:00pm Gourmet Buffet Dinner - with gifts, surprises, and show and tell
  • 8:00pm Open Stitch in the Stitching Banquet Room

Sunday, August 10, 2025 - ACADEMY DAY 2

  • 8:00am Stitching Banquet Room Opens with Buffet Breakfast
  • 10:00am Academy Day 2 Activities Begin - will continue with stitching activities, a panel discussion, and additional workshop tasks
  • 12:00pm Gourmet Buffet Lunch - with prizes and entertainment
  • 2:00pm Academy Activities Conclude - distribution of additional gifts, closing remarks
  • 2:00pm Open Stitch in the Stitching Banquet Room - until 11:00pm
  • 2:00pm Private Shopping for Academy Attendees at Hobby House Landing - until 6:00pm

REGISTRATION DETAILS

Registration will begin on Sunday, June 16, 2024, at 5:00pm (EST) on the Hobby House Needleworks website. The website is located at www.hobbyhouseneedleworks.com.

A banner with the above graphic will link directly to the Registration page. Seats will be assigned with accepted payments of the Deposit Fees of $300USD through Major Credit Cards and PayPal on a first come, first served basis.

We urge you to include your email address in your Account contact information so you can confirm that your payment has been received. No voicemail, text, Messenger, social media, or other form of communication can be accepted as a request to Register.

NOT INCLUDED IN THE ACADEMY FEES

• Hotel Accommodations (discounted room rates will be available)
• Transportation to/and from the Event Venue and Shop
• Additional Food, Beverages, and Incidentals purchased while at the Event Venue and Shop

REFUND POLICY

Upon registering for the Academy, we will offer refunds when another Attendee fills your seat. This will be done by the Event Organizers only, and no outside transfers can be made. Costs are immediately incurred and we need to ensure that these remain covered. In addition, a $50USD Service Fee will be incurred, so the refunded amount will be $250USD. Attendees who choose to cancel are responsible for their related bookings, such as hotel and transportation. The Event Organizers are not responsible for any cancellation costs incurred with hotels, airlines or other third parties.
