Join Hobby House Needleworks as we welcome Linda Stolz of Erica Michaels Designs for a weekend class: "A 1740 Band Sampler - Reimagined for the Holidays"
The timing for this event could not be better! First, the all-new 7600 sqft Hobby House Landing will be fully furnished and stocked to welcome you to upstate NY for this fabulous class with Linda Stolz and dozens of cross stitch loving friends! Second, the weather in late September is beautiful, so come early and enjoy all that our area has to offer. Finally, to start a band sampler that has been reimagined for the holidays is the perfect way to gently close the Summer and head into the Fall and Winter months.
In Linda's own words:
"As I stitched the reproduction of this 18th century band sampler in the original red and green colors, the potential for many Christmas-themed adaptions came to mind. Not only will we explore the reproduction itself - stitched by this eight-year-old needleworker as a reference for future handwork - we will also look at numerous options for utilizing the various motifs and bands. Your kit will include everything needed to complete several variations and we’ll spend plenty of class time reviewing finishing options for a variety of smalls."
