Caprice translated in English means impulse and this quilt reflect it perfectly. Nothing is identical except for the fountain. The flowers are free to grow wherever they feel like.

Caprice has an elegant composition of large numbers of flowers, all different, making it an interesting and always entertaining appliqué. It has even an artichoke. Add a couple of birds and you can feel summer is in the air.

It is a wonderful project to work on as it gives you room for some creativity. Made in a mix of reproduction style fabrics to give it a timeless look.

Long bias strips with half flowers nestled in the inner curves frames the centre beautifully.

Caprice has some interesting structured flowers and leaves which will expand your appliqué techniques.
