This design can be adapted to any spool:

Step 1: find a spool; it should have at least 2.5 inches of space for winding the fabric.

Step 2: find some banding that fits your spool; it can be any count, as long as it is wide enough for the stitch height (31).

Step 3: calculate the length needed for the 1012 stitches, plus another 6 inches for finishing.

Model stitched with 2 strands of Gloriana Silk Threads:
Bellaggio Red (3), Almond (2), Pacific Blue Dark (4)

DMC: 3777, Ecru, 3750
(6 skeins each of red & blue, 5 skeins of white)
