Fil Au Chinois Silk Perle ~ Box of 8 Bright Tones

Fil Au Chinois perle silk thread is glossy and resistant. It is traditionally used for buttonholes as will as topstitching on fabric or leather. It can also be used for cross stitch, bobbin lace or braids and trimmings.

It was commonly used in tapestries for finer details such as faces and hands of figures. When used with wool, it provides a nice contrast for the centers of certain flowers or animal eyes.
